That’s right, there’s only one of you and we want to see your face! This year let’s have a goal to capture new headshots, let’s face it yours is probably fairly outdated! Here are a few things to keep in mind when you’re taking that new headshot:
- Create an inviting background by going outside!
- Look approachable, no fake smiles around here!
- Don’t forget – people want to work with people they know, like, and trust. Say cheese!
Be the Advisor
This year education is a key factor as to why a potential client might choose you. It’s as simple as posting on social media about the market, breaking down the lingo that they might not understand, take them through the process ahead of time for a better experience.
By setting those expectations upfront and remaining transparent, the better the journey. Remember, they are depending on you to educate them throughout their process!

We know you’ve heard it before, but we’re here to really drive it home. If you aren’t currently on social media, what are you waiting for?
Create a content calendar for yourself, leverage opportunities to take more pictures to post and tag. When you’re at a closing, snap a selfie – people know why you’re doing it! Once you post that online, tag your clients and watch the sharing analytics flow.
Keep in mind, in order to double down each month, take a look at your analytics. Look to see what performed well and what flopped. Get better at your trade, one social media post at a time!
